Titanfall 2 multiplayer will be free this weekend

If you have not gotten the chance to play the terrific Titanfall 2, this weekend you can since Electronic Arts is making the game’s full multiplayer available for free this weekend on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Players will be able to access all the multiplayer modes, weapons, and weapons starting on Friday December 2nd. Xbox One EA Access and PC Origin Access subscribers can start today.

If you fall in love with Titanfall 2 and purchase it, all your progress from this multiplayer trial will carry over into the full game.

Here are some additional details from the official Titanfall blog:

In Multiplayer, all post-launch maps, modes, and weapons will be free for all players. Featuring the fully remastered fan favorite Angel City map from the original Titanfall, Angel City’s Most Wanted introduces additional free content including the Wingman Elite Pistol, six new Titan kits, and a brand new Pilot execution. Angel City’s Most Wanted also gives players the ability to purchase cosmetic items for their Pilot and Titan, including camos, nose art, warpaint, and more starting on December 3rd.

Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Titanfall 2 is the best-reviewed shooter of the year (we gave it a 9.5) and easily one of the best to land in the genre in my recent memory. The single-player story campaign is fantastic, featuring a satisfying variety of gameplay mechanics and memorable moments. The multiplayer offering is nothing to scoff at, thanks to the satisfyingly punchy shooting, fluid movement system, and fun maps and modes. Check out our full review here.
