Ubisoft Massive has announced it is hiring for a Narrative Director to work on Tom Clancy’s The Division 3.
The job description confirms that the job opening is based on Malmo, Swede, and requires experience in at least one triple-A title in a supervising role, an advanced level in storytelling and narrative design, as well as strong comprehension of narrative-related pipelines.

As Narrative Director on Tom Clancy’s the Division 3, you will be key in defining and executing the game’s narrative strategy, realization, and overall experience. Working closely with other directors and leads, you will lead a passionate team and be the shepherd and champion of all narrative-related matters within this highly ambitious project.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 was announced in September last year and in June 2024 Tom Henderson reported that it would enter full production once Star Wars Outlaws was complete, which of course wrapped production a few months back. At one point it wasn’t looking likely we would even get The Division 3, with a report in February 2023 claiming Ubisoft had no interest in a sequel.
