Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk has once again confirmed that work on a new next-generation iteration in his skateboarding franchise is well underway.
Speaking at the Sony CES conference in Las Vegas, the veteran skater – and figurehead of countless video games – made a fleeting mention to the fact that a new game in the seminal series was ”much further along” than originally planned.
Announced informally back in November by Hawk himself, the game – which is set for a 2015 release – will launch on PS4 (presumably non-exclusively) with Activision at the helm once again.
No other real concrete information was divulged as Sony’s CES conferences don’t usually put gaming to the forefront of proceedings but a formal exposé on the title shouldn’t be too far off.
