Iron Galaxy Studios has revealed during an interview with VGC that content from the original version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 — previously thought missing from the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 — will be included in the remaster after all.
In case you missed our previous article, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 originally featured the ability for players to skate around stages while taking on challenges from NPCs, but this has now been altered for the remaster and adapted into a two-minute format. As such, it was assumed that much of the original missions wouldn’t be included in the remastered version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 due to these changes.
However, while mini games such as playing tennis won’t be returning for the remaster, many of the original goals have been implemented as part of the game’s Pro Goals system. These additional objectives are accessed once you have finished the initial 10 goals for each stage. As previously reported, former Jackass star Bam Margera is set to appear in the game as a secret skate despite fears he had been cut.
