The first Transformers: Battlegrounds gameplay has been released and the title looks to play like XCOM.
The gameplay trailer gives us our first look at the actual title and how the moment-to-moment gameplay will shake out. You will be able to control Bumblebee, Windblade, Optimus Prime, and even more heroes. On top of that, the game will have 3 difficulty modes, accessible controls, and local multiplayer for both co-operative and competitive play. The game will also feature multiple locales for you to fight in.

Transformers: Battlegrounds was announced back in June and seems to be aimed towards children more than traditional gamers. We haven’t seen a whole lot of the game and we are now less than a month away from release, so we have to hope that we get even more gameplay in the coming weeks.
Transformers: Battlegrounds is set to release for PS4 on October 23, 2020.
