Call of Duty: Black Ops executive producer Dan Suarez has revealed that the upcoming shooter won’t support co-operative play for the game’s main campaign mode.
Chatting with Gamertag Radio, Suarez reiterated that local co-op play will come in the form of split-screen combat training and split-screen multiplayer. “There’s no campaign co-op this year,” he said.
Despite this, it’s worth noting that developer Treyarch has still yet to take the wraps off Black Ops’ central co-op mode, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for that in the coming weeks.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is pencilled in for a worldwide release on November 9.
