Frozenbyte, developers most notably famous for Trine, today revealed the final release dates for Trine 2, the upcoming sequel to one of the best physics-based puzzle platformers you can find on PlayStation Network.
Trine 2 will be landing earliest on PC and Mac on December 7, followed shortly by the PlayStation 3 version which hits on December 20 (in North America), and the Xbox 360 version on the 21.
"Alas, fans will have to wait a little longer for the console versions.” says Lauri Hyvärinen, CEO of Frozenbyte.
“A European release date for the PS3 system version of Trine 2 is still awaiting confirmation but we hope it won’t be far behind if delayed at all. The console releases might be arriving a bit later, but they are still in time for the holidays!"
We look forward to Trine 2, and wonder if it’ll be a true successor to its predecessor. Check out our review for Trine here.
