Twitter user Billbil-kun has revealed that the next chapter in the Trine franchise will be known as Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy.
That’s about all we know so far on the game, and the leaker couldn’t confirm whether or not the game would be released this year or not.
The last instalment in the franchise, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, was released for PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in October 2019. The original Trine was released for PS3 back in 2009, and was also remade in 2014 as Trine: Enchanted Edition, which used the engine that powered Trine 2.
Developer Frozenbyte hasn’t announced anything on Trine 5 yet, but last year we hear murmurs that a new entry in the franchise would be shown this year. With the title now leaked, hopefully it won’t be long until we hear something.
