Back 4 Blood developer Turtle Rock Studios‘ parent company Slamfire has been snapped up by Tencent.
The acquisition will see Turtle Rock Studios joining Tencent but will still retain independent operations at is headquarters in Lake Forest, California. In addition, the existing workforce headed by Phil Robb and Chris Ashton will continue to run all current operations as per usual.
From the look of things Tencent’s acquisition will not affect Back 4 Blood in any shape or form, so we can presume that its post-launch slate remains unchanged.
