The latest PlayStation Blog podcast has confirmed that Eat Sleep Play’s Twisted Metal will be made available as a download in the U.S. this week.
The vehicular combat title, masterminded by God of War creator David Jaffe, will retail for $40 on the PlayStation Store as part of tomorrow’s weekly update.
In addition, the retail version of the game will be dropped in price to reflect its digital counterpart.
Twisted Metal was released in February 2012 after a lengthy development cycle, with the game originally being revealed at E3 2010. The game marked Jaffe’s last project with Eat Sleep Play prior to his departure earlier this year, with the studio itself moving onto iOS development.
