Ubisoft has revealed what looks to be another online multiplayer, potentially free-to-play live service game with BattleCore Arena.
It’s presumably a competitive game where you battle in an arena, but the teaser trailer showcases an important detail. You play as a giant, fire-shooting, laser-blasting ball.
Not just any laser-blasting, fire-shooting ball of course, but a colourful one, that you’ll surely be able to make your own with free and paid cosmetics.
Alongside BattleCore Arena’s reveal, the Assassin’s Creed developer made it clear that players won’t have to wait long to see what BattleCore Arena is all about.
Thanks to the Technical Test coming up from February 1-5, that you can go register for now. So long as you have a Ubisoft account, of course.
Unfortunately for console player though, this first technical test will be PC-only. Hopefully though we’ll have more information on what platforms BattleCore Arena will be appearing on.
If it is indeed a live service, free-to-play title, then it’s more than likely going to be on all major platforms.
For now, we’ll wait to learn more about BattleCore Arena before passing any judgement. If it catches your eye, make sure to register for the test.
