Ubisoft Bordeaux, the primary developer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and long-time support studio for the stealth-based franchise, is apparently gearing up for more projects in the long-running stab-happy franchise.
That’s at least according to Rik Godwin, who recently announced on social media that he has joined Ubisoft Bordeaux as a lead writer, and will work on the Assassin’s Creed franchise. While he doesn’t specify exactly what he’s working on, it’s clear that the team isn’t done with the series yet.
As it’s the end of my first official week on the job: I am ridiculously delighted to announce I am now Lead Writer at Ubisoft Bordeaux, working on the Assassin’s Creed franchise!
Ubisoft is working on a number of Assassin’s Creed projects across its wealth of studios, including the Japan-set Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, as well as Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe. Beyond that, the company is also reportedly working on an Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Remake, although this has yet to be officially announced.
