Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora was rumoured to be coming out as early as the end of this year, sometime in November.
Today during an investors call however, Ubisoft confirmed that the game’s release window has in fact been pushed back to 2023-2024.
It wasn’t the only title that was pushed back though, as another unannounced title was also delayed back into 2023-2024, after previously being set to release between 2022-2023.
“While this additional development time is a reflection of the current ongoing constraints on productions across the industry, we are hard at work to design the most efficient working conditions to ensure both flexibility for our teams as well as strong productivity while delivering the best experiences to players.”
This also pushes Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora outside a release window with the next Avatar film from James Cameron.
Ubisoft’s other major release for the year, Skull & Bones is already set to release this November, which means that both games won’t eat at each other’s sales.
Avatar fans who were looking forward to Frontiers Of Pandora though are now going to have to wait longer than they likely anticipated.
