The Star Wars game in development at Ubisoft Massive is reportedly set to launch during the company’s current financial year, which means it’ll be out no later than March 31, 2024.
That’s according to sources at Kotaku, who notes that this window is probably a little too optimistic, and that they expect the game to be pushed into the next fiscal year ending March 2025. As mentioned, the Star Wars project is in development at Ubisoft Massive and features an open-world setting.
Back in 2022, leaker Tom Henderson claimed that the Star Wars game will not be released until 2025 at the earliest.

Not much else is known on the game, but a report back in January claimed that the game will allow players to jump between systems and explore a massive galaxy. Here’s what Julian Gerighty of Ubisoft had to say on the game:
We want to make it a unique game in the saga with a captivating story and set of characters that players can relate to and connect with. We want to take what is familiar and resonant about Star Wars and tell the stories of new characters who have their own motivations and stakes.
Ubisoft has announced anything about a release date for the Star Wars project yet, so take all these rumours with a pinch of salt for now.
