Ubisoft announced this afternoon that the first glance at pre-order figures for Assassin’s Creed III are downright impressive.
Tony Bartel, GameStop president, indicated that pre-order figures are up 100 percent through his retail chain alone almost, which puts ACIII, in Bartel’s words, "on track to be one of the top titles of 2012." Bartel goes on to say, "Ubisoft is offering high quality DLC available at launch to bring even more excitement to this title."
Since Assassin’s Creed III launches in a week, Ubisoft has also offered consumers the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass. For $29.99, you can have any DLC accessible one week before everyone else and that DLC will be 25% off. Essentially, the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass is one way to stay ahead of the curve.
Assassin’s Creed III launches on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Oct 30 and then on Nintendo Wii U and PC on Nov 18 and 20, respectively.
