Ubisoft has unveiled Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the prequel to the hit Xbox 360 and PC western-themed FPS, Call of Juarez. According to reports, the prequel – which will also be hitting PlayStation 3 – is expected to be much bloodier than the original.
"Call of Juarez was well received by gamers and critics," said Ubisoft marketing man John Parkes. "We’re confident this new collaboration with Techland will bring an even bigger and better adventure to fans of shooters and the lawless Wild West."
Unlike the original, Bound by Blood will enable you to take control of both McCall brothers in order to progress through the story. According to CVG, the title features "…locations including a ravaged Civil War-era Georgia and the Aztec ruins of Mexico, and promises a storyline packed with "greed, lust and lawlessness."
Apparently, Call of Juarez: Bound by Blood is slated for release some time this year. Until a concrete date is set, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
