Ubisoft today revealed the third entry in the Call of Juarez franchise: ‘The Cartel’.
Developed by Techland for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, first-person shoooter Call of Juarez: The Cartel will take players on an odyssey from present day Los Angeles, California to Juarez, Mexico. Despite The Cartel’s modern setting — the first two games were set in the Old West — Techland seeks to bring that special Wild West spice to its latest outing.
Be on the lookout, team — I heard this part of town is rough
"The game will bring the best elements of the Wild West into modern times with a very gritty and relevant plot," chimed Adam Novickas, director of marketing at Ubisoft.
Plot and gameplay details are scarce at the moment, but we expect a deluge on info when the March issue of EGM hits newsstands; it features The Cartel on its cover.
Dontcha come into my alley!
Call of Juarez: The Cartel is set to launch worldwide in Summer 2011.
