Ubisoft Will Shut Down Online Services For 9 PS3 Games This September

Ubisoft will shut down the online services for 9 different titles on September 1, 2022. The games in question are all games that originally launched during the PS3 generation, and are some of the most influential titles in Ubisoft’s portfolio.

‘Shutting down’ online services means that for these games, players will no longer be able to play any online multiplayer modes, or link their Ubisoft account to the game, or use any online features.

In the case of Ghost Recon Future Soldier, you’ll need to set your whole console into offline mode, to play the solo campaign.

Here are the 9 titles that you’ll be unable to use online features for on your PS3 this coming September.

  1. Assassin’s Creed II
  2. Assassin’s Creed III (2012 Release)
  3. Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood
  4. Assassin’s Creed Revelations
  5. Driver San Francisco
  6. Far Cry 3 (2012 Release)
  7. Ghost Recon Future Solider
  8. Rayman Legends
  9. Splinter Cell: Blacklist

So if you’ve yet to acquire any old multiplayer trophies for Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, or any of these titles then you have until September 1, 2022 to try and finish off that platinum.

Though it will likely be a struggle to find any match in an online game on your PS3 in 2022.
