PES 2016- Euro 2016 is out as a boxed physical edition today on PS3 and PS4.
The boxed edition features everything that was in the original PES 2016, which we gave 9/10 on this very site last year, plus the all new, officially-licensed UEFA European Championship mode to tie in with this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.
In addition to that, thousands of stat updates and hundreds of newly-designed, highly accurate player faces have been added. See the England boys below for proof, and fear Jamie Vardy’s haunting, beady-eyed gurn.
Though all 24 teams featured in the Euro 2016 tournament are featured, only 15 are licensed sadly, but I’d recommend heading to PESWorld.com to get your hands on kit packs for that.
The new boxed version of the game also comes with a hefty bonus for the online myClub mode, with top players from the tournament up for grabs to fill out your online dream team.
The Euro 2016 DLC was made free for existing PES 2016 owners after the game’s launch was something of a disaster, with player rosters not updated properly for months.
