It seems that UFC Undisputed 2010 is on board with the "Project $10" approach to multiplayer gaming – well, half way on board. The game’s multiplayer content will be inaccessible to those who purchase the game used unless a $5 access code is purchased online. Of course, all new copies of the game will come packaged with a one-use code.
Though the game’s street date isn’t until May 25th, Pasta Padre found a video featuring an early user attempting to get online with the title. Upon selecting the Xbox Live option, an on-screen prompt requested that an access code either be entered or purchased.
THQ remained quiet about the subject, but after word began spreading they released an official statement saying, "This multiplayer content for UFC Undisputed 2010 will be available via a one-time code included with the game at purchase. Codes for accessing the content will be available for second-time buyers for an additional $5."
