UK retail stores appear to be getting PS5 demo areas and kiosks according to a new Twitter post from someone who spotted one at a Currys PC World.
The image from @IronCoreGame shows a PlayStation themed area, currently taped up and not usable, with a couch and what appears to be some glass cases for the PS5 and a holder for the new DualSense controller. This seems like it will be a place where you can sit down and play a demo of a PS5 game, although keeping this sanitised and safe during the current global pandemic seems like a challenge.
The biggest question though is ‘does this mean pre-orders for the console will go live soon?’ Eric Lempel did say we will be notified of pre-orders in advance and when they will be going live. But we also may be seeing a price and release date soon if retail stores are preparing to invite people to try out the system.
