Naughty Dog has confirmed that Nathan Drake will be the only playable character in the hotly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
The California-based developer confirmed to German publication PlayM, who recently had a chance to preview the PlayStation 4-exclusive sequel, that the title won’t have any other playable characters other than Nate himself.
As with past games, the action is very much focused on Drake, and therefore Naughty Dog wanted to ensure he is the only character you get to grips with.
Regardless, our cocky fortune hunter will still be accompanied by various faces throughout his journey, including long-time partner, Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan, as well as Sam and Elena.
Uncharted 4 is due out in spring 2016. Naughty Dog previously confirmed that the game won’t feature any character progression system, and has said that PS4 has allowed the studio to accomplish things it can’t even talk about at the moment.
