The new Uncharted DLC is due to be revealed in full shortly! And it includes the arrival of a popular Uncharted 2 map.
Naughty Dog has announced that it will host a livestream on September 21, where it will reveal details on the new Uncharted 4 DLC, named ‘Bounty Hunter’. The developer will kick off the event at 10:30am PDT / 1:30pm EDT / 7:30pm CEST.
Uncharted 4 new content announcement
“We’ll be showcasing all of the new content launching with Uncharted 4 Multiplayer: Bounty Hunters DLC, including the debut of an all-new mode, the return of a fan-favorite map from Uncharted 2, a first look at our Cinema Replay tools, and more,” said the California-based studio.
From the sound of things we won’t hear anything on the Uncharted 4 single-player DLC, although that’s probably not surprising considering Naughty Dog made it clear it hasn’t really got very far with the expansion yet.
Uncharted 4 DLC release date
A launch date for Bounty Hunter has yet to be revealed, but we’d expect to hear more during the livestream.

Uncharted 4 was released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in May 2016, and proved a critical and commercial success, selling over 2.7 million copies in its first week alone. Naughty Dog has confirmed this will be its final Uncharted game, although hasn’t ruled out the possibility of another studio taking over for Uncharted 5.
Set three years after the events of its predecessor, Uncharted 4 sees Nathan Drake reunited with his long-lost brother, Sam, with the pair embarking on a globetrotting hunt for a legendary pirate’s treasure.
The Uncharted series launched on the PS3 back in 2007 with Drake’s Fortune, and was followed by the generation-defining Uncharted 2: Among Thieves in 2009 and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 2011. In addition, Sony Bend developed the 2012 PS Vita-exclusive Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
Sony revealed earlier this year that the Uncharted franchise has sold 28 million copies worldwide.
Uncharted 4 HDR
Recently, Naughty Dog spoke about the upcoming Uncharted 4 HDR update and 4K visuals which will be available on PS4 Pro when it launches on November 10, 2016. It sounds like the graphics are going to be fantastic. In an Uncharted 4 interview, lead designer, Christian Gyrling, likened the upgraded version to “removing the smudge from your glasses,” and “watching some nature documentary”.
