Uncharted 4 gets brief, action-packed TV spot: PS4’s must-have title is just around the corner

Sony has released a new Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End teaser for its latest TV spot for the upcoming action-adventure sequel.

Check it out below.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 4 on May 10, 2016. Set three years after the events of its 2011 predecessor, the game sees Nate coming out of retirement as a fortune hunter when he’s reunited with his long-lost brother, Sam, who was previously thought to have died some 15 years ago.

Together with Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan, the trio set off on a globetrotting adventure in search of a legendary treasure horde once owned by the British pirate, Henry Every. Their search eventually leads them to Madagascar, where they find themselves battling a rival mercenary unit lead by Nadine Ross.

Naughty Dog has improved upon the Uncharted formula this time around with a number of gameplay enhancements. Chiefly, players will have large-scale environments to explore via Nate’s jeep, while stealth and brawling mechanics have also been completely overhauled.

The California-based studio has indicated Uncharted 4 will be the longest game in the series’ history. It’s also the first game in the company’s history without pre-rendered cutscenes, and boasts one of the strongest openings the developer has cooked up to date.
