According to website Jaffameister, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s single-player DLC will debut at the PlayStation Experience 2016 early next month, and will feature Nathan Drake’s brother, Sam, in a starring role.
While nothing official has been confirmed by Sony or Naughty Dog, the site claims that both Troy Baker and Nolan North, who voice Sam and Nate, respectively, are reprising their roles for the DLC, so presumably we haven’t seen the last of Drake just yet. In addition, we can also expect Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan to appear in the new adventure, which is slated for early 2017.
The site claims that the new Uncharted 4 DLC is standalone, meaning you won’t need to own a copy of the original, critically acclaimed adventure sequel in order to play it. Furthermore, it’s also said to be pretty meaty in terms of length, surpassing that of Left Behind, the story-based DLC for The Last of Us.

Apparently, we’ll be treated to some gameplay footage at PSX for the DLC reveal, plus a variety of cut scene footage and a title. Again, take this info with a pinch of salt, as nothing official has been confirmed as of yet.
Uncharted 4 co-op is coming in mid-December
Naughty Dog has been keeping mum on the Uncharted 4 single-player DLC in the last few months, indicating that it’s still some ways off as the studio was still ‘battling about ideas.’ Yesterday, the Santa Monica outfit confirmed that it will be releasing a new Survival Mode for Uncharted 4 next month, which includes new co-op and solo gameplay experiences for the multiplayer.
Uncharted 4 was released in May 2016 and scored rave reviews from critics while taking the series to new commercial heights, selling over 2.7 million copies in its first week alone. Naughty Dog has confirmed it is done with the franchise once its post-launch commitments are done, although hasn’t ruled out Uncharted 5 being made by another developer.
