Uncharted 4 to offer ‘closure’ on Nathan Drake’s story

Naughty Dog has given its biggest hint yet that the forthcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will bring the curtain down on Nathan Drake’s part in the multi-million selling adventure franchise.

Speaking in a trailer for the recent Game Informer cover story, the former Crash Bandicoot developer touched briefly on the challenges it has faced when working on the story for Nate’s hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 debut.

"Trying to take everything Nathan Drake has done, who he is and trying to find closure for that story is really challenging,” said the studio.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard murmurs of Uncharted’s end, either. Nolan North, the voice actor behind Nathan Drake, previously expressed his opinion that A Thief’s End will be the final entry in the franchise.

Earlier today a barrage of details from GI’s preview on the game arrived online via Gematsu, which you can read in our article here. Check out the latest high-res screenshots while you’re at it.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is due out later this year.
