Naughty Dog has announced that Uncharted: A Thief’s End update 1.12 will be available on March 17, 2017 on PlayStation 4 and will introduce a fresh batch of multiplayer content for the critically acclaimed action-adventure game.

The update includes a permanent King of the Hill mode for Uncharted multiplayer, which will see two teams battling it out for rotating capture points in order to hit the top score. However, Naughty Dog has spiced things up a bit; once the score limit has been reached, the losing team has a chance to make a comeback by nabbing Victory Hill, while the winner must capture this point in order to win.

In addition, there’s a bunch of new weapons on offer, including NSAS and Type-95 long runs and scoped Competition Pistol, as well as vanity skins inspired by in-game comics found within The Last of Us.

Uncharted 4 launched exclusively for PS4 in May 2016 and picked up stellar reviews from critics, and went on to sell 8.7 million copies worldwide as of January 2017. Developer Naughty Dog has confirmed that it is very unlikely to make Uncharted 5, although hasn’t ruled out the possibility of another studio producing the sequel. For now, it’s busy polishing off the upcoming standalone expansion, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

The Uncharted franchise remains one of Sony’s biggest-selling exclusives, having moved over 28 million copies worldwide as of May 2016–and that’s before you consider Uncharted 4’s latest milestone. A movie adaptation is currently in development, although the script has not been supported by Naughty Dog.

Uncharted update 1.12 will be rolled out on March 17 in all territories.
