It seems like Naughty Dog, the creator of the Uncharted series, has had little to do with the new Uncharted movie script.
Naughty Dog creative director, Neil Drukmann recently vented his frustration at the project on Twitter, quoting the writer of the Uncharted film, who said:
“I’ve heard is the Naughty Dog guys are really happy with it. But who knows? That could like Donald Trump hearing something; that may not be true after all.”
Druckmann quoted the Tweet, and in response said:
"A recent quote from the writer of the Uncharted film. We know nothing about the film. Wish he’d stop implying it has our support."

That doesn’t bode well for Sony’s Uncharted movie. You’d expect that the actual creators, who know Uncharted inside and out would be involved in some way with the new film, which involves fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, in his search for the lost city of El Dorado.
Let’s hope they still do it justice.
