Ballistic Moon‘s overhaul of Until Dawn on PS5 and PC has gotten off to a pretty slow start in regards to its Steam user count, recording one of the lowest debuts for Sony first-party titles on the platform.
Until Dawn for PC peaked at 2,607 concurrent users, which ranks it as Sony’s worst debut on PC since Concord and SackBoy: A Big Adventure. However, it’s worth pointing out that this is obviously a remake of an older game and not a brand new title, although it is the first time Until Dawn has been playable on PC.

Rebuilt by Ballistic Moon (the PS4 version was made by Supermassive Games), Until Dawn enhances the experience with high-fidelity character models, improved lighting effects, and ray-traced shadows, all made possible using the Unreal Engine 5.
Until Dawn launched for PS5 and PC on October 4, 2024 and you can read our full verdict here.
