Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, Ballistic Moon has shared a number of key details on the upcoming PS5 and PC versions of Until Dawn, which was announce during Sony’s State of Play earlier this week.
From the sound of things Until Dawn on PS5 is more than just a quick remaster, with one of the main features being added is a third-person camera. If you recall, the original version of the game featured fixed camera angles, mirroring old-school survival horror titles.
[This] means you can now look behind the curtain of the original game, exploring enhanced and new locations with new interactions and collectables. Incorporating a third-person camera and adding contextual character movement animations, the game now allows the player to really feel the experience of that fateful night.
We’ve endeavoured to keep the fantastic narrative integratory of the original, but we have seized the opportunity to expand upon unexplored emotional parts of the story.
