ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Eric Lempel, VP of network operations at Sony Computer Entertainment America, has dropped the word that a new software update is heading to the PlayStation 3 soon.
Software update v3.55 is a minor security-based patch. At this time there is no official release schedule and no further information about what we’ll find inside the patch. It seems like we’ll have to wait until 2011 for any major content updates.
