UPDATE:
Turns out the new LittleBigPlanet costume downloadable content is headed westward, featuring all of the costumes mentioned in our original article with the exception of Toro. Instead, Sony has replaced the costume with a MotorStorm outfit.
In addition, the company will also be giving out a free plant costume that was designed by a fellow LittleBigPlanet fan. The costumes will vary in price, ranging from USD 0.99 (all four for USD 2.99) for the animal costumes to USD 1.99 for the MotorStorm helmet.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has posted an update on the Japanese LittleBigPlanet website, showcasing a number of new costumes headed to the critically acclaimed social platformer.
Some of the new costumes include a chameleon, shark, penguin, and gorilla, in addition a Toro costume from Mainichisshyo, though don’t expect the latter to see a release in the states.
We have contacted Sony for an official comment on the new costumes and if they plan on releasing the new DLC in other territories outside of Japan.
