[UPDATE] White DualShock 3 controllers hit the U.S.

According to Kotaku, white DualShock 3 controllers have begun surfacing in the U.S.

Originally, it was speculated that new controllers wouldn’t hit the U.S. until June. However, people have been posting that they have been seeing them already in retail stores. The image below was taken by Kotaku reader "Henry" after picking one up from his local Walmart.

UPDATE: According to SCEA, there are "no plans to release a white DUALSHOCK 3 controller in North America." As for the image sent in to Kotaku, SCEA told us that "the image isn’t legitimate."
