US Law Firm Begins Investigating PS5 DualSense Drifting Issues

US law firm Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D) have announced that they are investigating customer’s claims of DualSense Drift.

The firm is also behind the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con drift lawsuit, which is currently ongoing. An online form is now available for affected customers to get in touch to share their issues. The form states the following:

“CSK&D is investigating a potential class action based upon reports that Sony PS5 DualSense controllers for the PlayStation 5 console can experience drift issues and/or fail prematurely. Specifically, it is reported that the joystick on certain PS5 DualSense controllers will automatically register movement when the joystick is not being controlled and interfere with gameplay.”

“If you own a PS5 Dualsense controller experiencing drift issues, please contact the attorney(s) listed below by filling out the form provided.”

It isn’t clear what is behind these issues with the DualSense or how long it has been going on for, but there are multiple reports of the issue online, with users experiencing varying degrees of drift. Have you been experiencing any issues?
