The latest tweet by the company reads, “Happy Friday! Here’s a puzzle for you to solve. Can you guess what it is? Answer will be revealed on Monday.” and includes a diced up image of the Edelweiss tank operated by Welkin and Isara Gunther in the original Valkyria Chronicles.
The remastered version of Valkyria Chronicles and the new sequel for PS4 titled Valkyria: Azure Revolution were unveiled last November with neither confirmed for the West yet. A new trailer for Valkyria Chronicles Remaster was recently released.
Sega first launched Valkyria Chronicles on the PlayStation 3 in 2008 and was praised for its tactical RPG gameplay and beautiful watercolor-looking cell shading. The game was later ported to the PC and also received two sequels for the PlayStation Portable. You can read our review of the original here.
