SEGA has super-glued a May 17 release date to the upcoming PlayStation 4 remaster of Valkyria Chronicles in the U.S. and Europe.
This remastered version of the original cult classic, which was released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2008, includes spruced up 1080p/60fps visuals plus all available downloadable content and Trophy support.

In addition to the PS4 re-release of the original game, SEGA also has a brand new instalment in the series, Valkyria Chronicles: Azure Revolution. Devised as a spinoff of sorts from the main franchise, Azure Revolution is currently scheduled for a Japanese release in Q4 2016.
