Polish developer Draw Distance has announced Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows Of New York for PlayStation 4, a standalone expansion to its visual novel, Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York.
Casting players as the newly fanged member of the Lasombra clan, Shadows of New York looks set to deftly blend horror, politics and and adventure into the visual novel format just like Coteries of New York did before it. Also, with Shadows of New York being standalone, that means you don’t need to have played the main game, Coteries of New York, to get stuck in.
With Coteries of New York releasing last month (we rather enjoyed it, quite honestly,) and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 releasing later in the year, 2020 is shaping up to be quite the bumper year for fans of White Wolf’s endlessly intriguing Vampire: The Masquerade setting.
Though no specific release date has been announced for Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows Of New York, we would expect to hear something soon all the same. In the meantime you can catch the teaser trailer for the game below.
