Focus Home Entertainment has rolled out the official Vampyr E3 2017 trailer for you to sink your teeth into.

Check it out below. The trailer also confirms a Vampyr release date, with the game due out on November 4, 2017.

Developed by Dontnod Entertainment, Vampyr is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, and takes place in London during the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic. Players control the vampyric Doctor Jonathan Reid, who must come to terms with his newfound bloodlust while stalking the streets of the ravaged city at night. Gamers are given the choice of killing off innocent civilians to fuel Reid’s undead powers or spare them entirely, although each decision has direct consequences on your character.

The game’s London setting is split into four districts, and serves as a semi-open world for players to explore. The local population have their own different backgrounds and daily routines, and can also be turned into vampires if you so wish. Combat also forms a major part of the action, with Reid squaring up to other blood-suckers and vampire slayers alike, with both melee and ranged weapons at his disposal.

One of the most interesting aspects of Vampyr is that players can finish the game without taking a single life, with four different endings unlockable depending on your actions. As mentioned, there are consequences to your decisions, and if you want to maintain your cover as a doctor you’ll be incapable of levelling up. If you do let your love for claret get the better of you, then your actions will have a direct affect on the citizens of London.
