Stringer’s comments come following the company’s annual shareholders meeting in Tokyo yesterday.
The electronics giant said last month that it expects its games division to turn in its first annual profit in three years, following the decision to lower manufacturing costs of its PlayStation 3 videogames console.
Despite this, Bloomberg reports that the PlayStation division lost USD 3.4 billion in the past two years under Stringer.
