In a recent interview with Joystiq, Yoshinori Ono stated that Capcom is currently investigating the possibility of creating a small arcade stick that will connect to the PlayStaton Vita for Street Fighter X Tekken.
"We’re actually talking to Mad Catz about doing something like that," Ono said. "You can’t replicate the experience entirely on a portable, but I think if we made a small joystick that you could just keep in your bag, and maybe even if you’re in economy class, whip it out during a flight, put your Vita in there, and replicate to some degree the arcade experience, it would be really awesome."
Whether or not we’ll see this peripheral come to fruition or not, it’s still exciting to see Capcom, and specifically Ono, being so forward-looking when it comes to Vita development.
