Sony announced at its conference today a new system called the Vita TV. The device will allow for PS4 remote play and has a slot for physical Vita games. It is a 6cm x 10cm in size device that connects to your TV, and as Andrew House showed on stage it can fit inside your jacket pocket.
Video contents from the PS Store can be accessed through the device. It is compatible with Hulu and Nico Nico, as well as PS Vita, PSP and first generation PlayStation archives.
It will first be released in Japan November 14th, 2013 for 9954 yen. The value pack at 14,994 will include a PS3 controller and an 8GB Vita memory card. The international release date was not announced at this time.
