VR Skater PSVR 2 Release Date Delayed To August 4

Perp Games has announced a brief delay for upcoming PSVR 2 skateboarding title VR Skater. The game was originally slated to launch on July 21, but will now arrive on August 4.

Unfortunately, we have moved the release date of VR Skater PSVR2, back 2 weeks to 4th August. Due to some fixes made over the weekend we would like to ensure these are tested thoroughly before release. We are very sorry for the delay and hope you understand our decision.

Built from the ground up to take advantage of VR technology, Skater VR promises to deliver the “most authentic, challenging, and immersive skating game ever,” players will learn to master the art of skateboarding with various tricks, grab tricks, grinds, slides and more.

Skater VR offers seven urban environments plus the Mega Ramp, with players able to earn XP, medals, trophies, and grind their way to the top of the leaderboards, plus the VR Skater shop where you can exchange your XP and swap out your grip tape, trucks, wheels and board artwork.

Skater VR is pencilled in for release on PSVR 2 on August 4.
