CI Games and Hexworks have announced that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be composed by Walter Mair, who previously worked on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Mair also worked on the Apple TV series Liaison, and is best recognised for his sweeping orchestrations featuring an 80-piece choir, and his work has graced multiple films, documentaries, TV dramas and video games. The Modern Warfare III soundtrack was nominated for a BAFTA and Ivor Novello Award, and is in the running for seven gongs at this year’s Game Audio Network Guild Awards at the San Francisco Game Developers Conference.

CI Games announced Lords of the Fallen 2 back in June 2024, and confirmed the company will be publishing the console version of the fantasy-RPG while Epic Games is handling the PC distribution rights. According to the initial press blurb, Lords to he Fallen 2 is “built around more ambitious gameplay options for wider audience appeal,” and has benefited from the “substantial learnings, experiences and knowledge” of its predecessor’s production.
Lords of the Fallen 2 is scheduled for release in 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
