Wargroove, the hit indie title that released earlier this year, has been given a PS4 Release Date after months of anticipation from fans.
Wargroove will hit PS4 on July 23, 2019! That is next week! The game is developed by Chucklefish and long been in development for PS4. However, the release had to be delayed earlier this year. Now, everyone on PS4 can get a chance to play this awesome turn-based strategy game. Also, the game allows you to play as a dog.

Wargroove is a turn-based strategy game for up to 4 players, in which each player takes control of an army and its commander unit to wage war on their enemies! Wargroove is extremely easy to pickup, with accessibility at the forefront of its design, and very difficult to master, with deep gameplay mechanics that complement strategic play.
The PlayStation Blog then went into more detail on the specifics of the gameplay:
Commanders are at the heart of the game, each with their own special ultimate move called a ‘Groove’, which only activates once it has charged to 100%. Grooves can completely shake up the battlefield in an entirely different way once used, take Felheim’s High Vampire Sigrid for example, whose ‘Vampiric Touch’ Groove drains all health from an enemy unit and heals her – very handy when you’re in a pinch!
Each Commander has their own distinct personality and motivations, which you’ll learn more about in the game’s single player story campaign, which follows the Cherrystone Kingdom’s fresh-faced and inexperienced Queen Mercia on her quest against unworldly forces.
Wargroove launches for PlayStation 4 on July 23, 2019.
