Warhammer 40K: Boltgun was received with genuine shock by players, in regards to the fact that an retro-style shooter wasn’t what anyone had on their bingo-card for new games int eh Warhammer 40K universe, and that it was really, really fun.
On Thursday, the one year anniversary of its release at time of writing, it was revealed by publisher Focus Entertainment during the Warhammer Skulls showcase event that new DLC for the game would arrive next month.
June 18, 2024 is when Boltgun’s DLC titled Forges Of Corruption will be available for players to purchase, coming with new weapons, new enemies, and new environments to wreak havoc through.
There will also be a game mode added to Boltgun that won’t be paywalled, and instead will be free to all players – a long-requested horde mode is finally coming to Boltgun.
Between four difficulty levels for the coming horde mode, players will be able to run around Boltgun and see just how long they can survive.
