Warhammer Chaosbane is the newest title in the long standing Games Workshop franchise. Chaosbane is a traditional dungeon crawler set in the fantasy world of Warhammer filled with never ending loot and infinite baddies to take down.
We’ve compiled a few tips to help you though the game and prepare you for any danger that comes knocking and get you ready for the End Game content:
Warhammer Chaosbane Guide – Tips
Healing: There are plenty of abilities that can heal your character and it’s worth investing in these abilities. You should also use your healing potion. The healing potion never runs out, you just have to wait for you health potion’s cool-down effect until you can use it again.
Don’t worry about dying: Dying isn’t fun in any game but in Chaosbone you can simply revive in the same spot you fell. If you do choose to review you can do it with a set amount of gold coins or fragments. You shouldn’t worry to much about these resources as you get plenty of them before you even finish the first chapter of the game.
Save your Fragments: Fragments are small stones you acquire from fallen foes and completing quests. These Fragments can be used to revive yourself if you fall in combat but more importantly these fragments are used to acquire “God Skills” and attribute points. Once you unlock the God Skill tree these fragments will be used to acquire small stat bonuses and powerful God Skills. Even further into the game these fragments are used to upgrade your equipment.
Change the difficulty: As you progress and you’re equipment gets better it’s a good idea to up the difficulty. Upping the difficulty isn’t just for a challenge, it increase your change of getting higher quality loot with the higher difficulty setting.
Blessing: Blessing is Chaosbane’s equipment upgrade system. Using fragments you can upgrade that much beloved equipment to better quality version of it. Be warned though that once you complete this Blessing if you wish to upgrade the same item later it will replace the upgrades you already made. I recommend Blessing your equipment much later in the game. Even waiting until you get some “Heroic” quality equipment.
Expeditions: You unlock expeditions after you defeat the boss at the end of a chapter. Expeditions are challenging missions that send you into a randomly generated dungeon to acquire some powerful loot. These Expeditions also have Events that pop up randomly that are worth completing to acquire a lot of experience points among other rewards.
Know your character: Each character is unique and the loot should help you understand what type of character you’re using. Loot gives you various stats but it’s important to figure out what stats you want you’re character to focus on. A piece of equipment may seem better then the one you have equipped but if it counteracts the build you’re using it’s probably not a good idea to equip it. A good way to determine what stats to focus on is looking at the God Skill Tree and seeing what attributes you can unlock more of and focus on that type of build.
We hope these tips help you along you’re journey in Chaosbone. The forces of Chaos are gathering to conquer the world and it’s up to you and hopefully your friends to stop the rising chaos.
