There’s not much to go on right now, but Fatshark has just released a teaser trailer on the Steam page, which reads:

‘Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Vermintide. It’s time for players to return to the memorable first-person co-op experience with intense world class melee action.’

“On October 23rd, 2015 we introduced the world to Warhammer: Vermintide, and since then it has sold over 1.5 million units.” says Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark and continues “Now it’s time to introduce the upcoming sequel – Warhammer: Vermintide 2”

A worldwide reveal for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is planned for October 17, and a release date has yet to be announced.

The Vermintide franchise is set within the popular Warhammer universe. The first game was released in 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One and was multiplayer-only, allowing up to three players to join forces to fight together against the Skaven.
