The California based studio Hangar 13, which is currently wrapping up development for its soon to be released Mafia 3, has revealed a 16-minute video featuring Mafia 3 gameplay and a quick glimpse of the sights and sounds of the game.

Mafia 3 characters: Lincoln Clay
In Mafia 3 you play as Lincoln Clay, who’s an orphan and a Vietnam vet who heads out for revenge against the Italian Mafia for the killings of the Black Mob, who were like family to Lincoln.
Set around the fictional city New Bordeaux, a reimagined version of 1968 New Orleans, Lincoln is on the hunt to bring down the head of the Italian Mafia, Sal Marcano. In the mission played in the demo below, Lincoln sets out take out Marcano’s underboss Tony Derazio and send a clear message.
One of the benefits of Mafia III being an open world game, is that players have the choice in terms of how they approach each mission. Lincoln can either go all guns blazing to kill Derazio or take a much subtler approach.
