Dismantle Mods for Destiny 2 Forsaken
The mods get a revamp in Destiny 2 Forsaken. Your current mod will no longer be useful for Destiny 2’s next season. However, you if you dismantle your mods, you can get loads of shards which you can use in Destiny 2 Forsaken. So dismantle all of your mods now, then add blue mods to legendary mods to get quality mod components.
Dismantle Shaders for Destiny 2 Forsaken
According to Scott Taylor, the Destiny 2 expansion lead developer, players can pull out shaders directly from the Collections tab in Destiny 2 Forsaken. And shaders application to gear is now free. So you can safely dismantle all of your shaders now.
However, you should keep your favorite shaders because if you want them back, you’ll need to rebuy them again. So for example, a normal shader will be turned into glimmer, and it will cost glimmer to get it back in Destiny 2 Forsaken. The game records all of the shaders you acquired. So you don’t need to unlock them again in Forsaken.
Dismantle Legendary Armor and Weapons (Only Unused)
Are you one of those who collect legendary armor and weapons but not actually uses them? If yes, you may want to start letting go of these unused items in your vault. If you dismantle legendary gears, you can get legendary shards which you can make use of once Destiny 2 Forsaken arrives next week. Don’t worry because Bungie saves all you dismantle and you can access them again.
