Where Winds Meet Has Drummed Up 9 Million Players In 2 Weeks

Everstone Studio has announced that Wuxia-RPG Where Winds Meet has notched up an impressive nine million players in just two weeks. The news comes following confirmation that the game attracted two million players in its first 24 hours on sale.

Winds rise through the bamboo forest, and with a sword in hand we step into the Jianghu. 9 Million wanderers have set out from our humble abode among the bamboo. Thank you.

Earlier this November, a new start-up message added to Where Winds Meet pledged that the game will not become pay-to-win, with text proclaiming, “play what you love, ignore what you don’t.”

Where Winds Meet takes place during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdom era, which transpired after the collapse of the Tang Dynasty. Players will have access to a wide variety of weapons and fighting styles, with the game map reaching about 20 square kilometres. The narrative follows the journey of a young sword master as they attempt to uncover the mysteries of you their identity, while exploring ancient China against the backdrop of political intrigue, power struggles and large-scale battles.
